World History for the last day of classes

  • Middle East - questions are (were?) due. If you received a 'missing' remark on Power School, then this should be completed. Be sure to inform me on your Google Doc that it is done. It MUST be done by Thursday of this week. Again, if your grade shows a 'missing', it will be a zero in the absence of this assignment.

World History for the Week of May 21 to 24

  • Block G - be sure to have completed the Cold War Cause and Effect page.
  • Block A - we will be starting that page so it will be due on Tuesday.


Asian Studies for the Week of May 21 to 24

  • Be sure that you have prepared a fakebook page for you nationalist leader/writer of East Asia. See Unit IV and mouse over the picture of the Saemaul Protest for a description of the assignment. Go to your class for the character you are assigned.
  • You MUST have a hard copy of your fakebook page for your nationalist leader as a ticket to participate in the Fish bowl talks during your first class this week.
  • Have read the pages required for your person.
  • By the second class be sure to have completed reading about WW II (pp. 204-14 - see below).

Asian Studies for the Week of May 14 to 18

  • Another week of AP exams.
  • Work to be done primarily in class. Readings to include the following:
    • Chapter 4 The Rise of Nationalism and Communism. Parts of this chapter pertaining to the person in history that will be assigned to you are all you need to be concerned with.
    • "Japan and the United States at War" p.p. 204 to 214 (stop at "Japan's American Interlude")
